Today marks a very important anniversary for me. Ten years ago to the day, I lost everything in a fire. Though time has healed my heart, it still hurts from time to time. What I learned from my loss is that life is too short. Live for every day. Love with all of your heart. Smile.

I am a freelance photographer who primarily works in organic settings (parks, beach, yards, etc.) I like to catch “real life moments” on camera. I’m not one to have set poses and frozen scenes. I love photographing children and teens. Please know that I work solely from word of mouth. I offer discounts and sometimes free sessions with referrals.



I photograph up to six people in your group in as many poses and outfits as you would like for up to two hours. My session fee is $50. In groups larger than six there is a $5 per person additional fee. Pets are welcome at your discretion and in accordance with the rules at the beach.


You will receive access to view your photos for up to two months. A CD containing all photos taken in Jpeg format is available for $100. These photos on the CD will be yours to keep. Any photo enhancements are available at additional fees. A preview portfolio and portrait orders are also additional fees.

As you prepare for your portrait session, please ask me if you have any questions regarding location and clothing. I feel that a portrait should be timeless. I think that the clothing that you have on should enhance the portrait and not dominate it. Try to coordinate solid colors in classic colors and clothing styles. Try to stay away from any visible logos or brand names. For example, at a beach portrait I would recommend white shirts with either khakis or jeans and bare feet.


For your session, please let me know what type of portraits you are trying to achieve, i.e. casual and silly, traditional, formal, or a mix of all. Or even if you have a theme like cowboys, farmers, ballerinas, etc. This will help me better prepare for your arrival and create a custom product just for your family.
